This course will highlight how transit providers play a vital role in emergency planning, evacuation, and disaster response, while also addressing the challenges and opportunities that come with new transit technologies.  Using real-world examples, partnerships, and interactive discussions, we’ll explore ways transit systems can help strengthen community preparedness and resilience.  Participants will gain practical insights into using transit resources to support evacuations, shelter operations, and emergency logistics, and will identify opportunities to work more closely with emergency management partners.  We’re all in this together.
