Patrick joined Selective Insurance as an underwriting trainee after graduating from Appalachian State University in 1999. He had the privilege to play varsity baseball for the Mountaineers and received his degree in Business Administration. He started his career as a renewal underwriter working in that role for five years before transitioning to the Risk Management Department. He has worked his way up from the field level, to Supervisor, to his current role of AVP of Risk Management in 2022.

Patrick lives in Harrisburg, NC with his wife and two children. His son is currently attending the United States Air Force Academy and plays baseball for the Falcons. His daughter is in her Senior year in high school and currently committed to play softball at Columbia International University in South Carolina in the fall.
