With over 24 years of experience in coordinated transportation planning and strategic partnerships, Laura Brown is a seasoned leader in developing innovative, actionable solutions for human service agencies and transportation systems at the local, regional, and statewide levels. She specializes in consensus-building and the creation of implementable plans that address the unique challenges of mobility, accessibility, and human services transportation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Brown has led numerous community-driven coordinated and mobility management planning projects in urban and rural settings. She has worked with local communities to complete regional coordinated transportation efforts across diverse regions such as rural West Virginia and Tennessee, and the large suburban and urban Chicago (IL) and Cleveland (OH) areas. She also has participated in regional transportation planning efforts in states such as Alaska, Utah, New Hampshire, Indiana, Nevada, West Virginia, and Ohio. Her extensive project portfolio spans statewide and regional coordinated transportation plans, human services- public transportation integration, and accessibility improvements. Ms. Brown also played a pivotal role in the research for two national projects involving asset management and the use of Section 5310 program administration funds with the National Cooperative for Highway Research Program.
