Terrie Glass is the President of Leadership Solutions and a frequent presenter for CTAV and YTP. Her area of expertise is leadership and the development of teams. She has worked for several of our member organizations individually as a trainer and consultant, and has designed and led workshops for the Virginia Transit Liability Pool for our member organizations. Terrie is engaging, understands our world from her years of contact with us and strives to offer her workshop participants practical tips for making themselves more effective.
Session Topic: Taking Charge of Your Professional Development
Professional development, ideally, is a mutual effort between an individual and their manager. Too often, though, we take a passive stance toward our own development or we push for things to happen faster than they should. In this session, we will look at three areas of focus that you control and will significantly increase your chances of the growth you desire.
