Michael brings over 45 years of experience in the transit industry, which includes 16 years in senior transit management and a strong background in transit training, strategic planning, leadership development, manager and supervisor development, board training, safety and security, and a host of front-line transit issues. He is the co-owner of Noel Training & Consulting, LLC (formally Lazaro & Noel, LLC and worked for and with RLS & Associates, Inc. As a nationally recognized trainer and consultant, Michael has provided training for thousands of transportation professionals, has conducted onsite management and safety reviews for over 300 transit systems, and has delivered services in 45 states. He was well received at dozens of national, local and state transit meetings and conferences as a motivational speaker and has facilitated numerous staff developmental and strategic planning retreats. He has authored and co-authored training manuals for many organizations including a model Safety and Security Emergency Preparedness Plan (SSEPP) in use by transit systems across the country.
